On April 6, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngai Tu commune coordinated with the family of Mr. Nguyen Vo Toan - Dan Nam Fertilizer Company, Tam Binh commune to organize the presentation of gifts to poor and near-poor households in the commune.
The activity was organized on the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday Chol Chnam Thmay 2026 of the Khmer ethnic people, to contribute to taking care of life and helping households in difficult circumstances enjoy spring and welcome a warm Tet.
At the program, 153 poor and near-poor households received gifts. Each gift included 10kg of rice, 1 box of instant noodles, 1 bottle of soy sauce and 1kg of granulated sugar, worth more than 300,000 VND. The total implementation cost was over 45 million VND, sponsored by Mr. Nguyen Vo Toan's family.

Mr. Le Hoang Hai, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngai Tu commune, acknowledged and thanked the support of Mr. Nguyen Vo Toan's family; wishing to continue to receive the companionship of organizations and individuals in social security work in the locality.
Representing households, Ms. Thach Thi Kieu, Soc Rung hamlet, Ngai Tu commune expressed her excitement when receiving gifts, and at the same time sent thanks to the local government and philanthropists for their concern and support in helping people celebrate Tet more fully.
On this occasion, the Vinh Long Provincial Social Work Center also presented new clothes to households, contributing to bringing joy during the traditional Tet holiday of the Khmer people.
The activity contributes to effectively implementing social security work, caring for the material and spiritual life of the people, and at the same time promoting the tradition of solidarity and mutual affection in the community.
