At Long Hoa Pagoda (Phu Dinh ward), hundreds of gifts and livelihood means were handed directly to visually impaired people, terminally ill people and orphaned students due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The gift-giving ceremony was attended by Venerable Thich Hue Cong, abbot of Long Hoa Pagoda, along with the family of Mr. Dang Ba Giai (former Head of the Pagoda's Sponsorship Board) and the Phu Dinh Ward government.

At the program, the pagoda and philanthropists presented gifts including 100 portions to visually impaired people and cases of terminal illness in the area. In particular, to help people have conditions to rise up in life, the organizers donated 2 motorbikes as livelihoods and 10 bicycles to orphaned students due to the COVID-19 epidemic, helping them to go to school more steadily.

On this occasion, Ms. Au My Ly (wife of the late Head of the Long Hoa Pagoda Sponsorship Board) also donated 1.5 tons of rice for the pagoda to continue carrying out charity work. The total cost of gifts in this phase is worth 130 million VND, sponsored by Mr. Dang Ba Giai's family.
This is a meaningful activity, showing the concern of the pagoda and philanthropists for disadvantaged circumstances, contributing to the Phu Dinh ward government to ensure social security in the locality.
