Tourists are interested in traditional culture and festivals in Mang Den

Quang Ngai - Through the festival, the traditional cultural values of Mang Den are vividly introduced to tourists.

On August 30th, the Street Festival took place in Mang Den commune (Quang Ngai province), with the participation of nearly 200 Xo Dang ethnic artisans from Kon Pring, Kon Vong Kia, Kon Chenh, Kon Tu Ma villages.

The festival takes place on a road with beautiful pine forests along National Highway 24, about 3km long.

Nearly 200 artisans in traditional costumes performed gongs, xoang dances and folk musical instruments, creating a bustling atmosphere at the festival.

Unique costumes further add color to the festival, attracting a large number of people and tourists to stop and watch.

A music program, cultural exchange and traditional cultural experience took place at Pa Sy Waterfall Tourist Area.

At the program, visitors enjoyed singing performances, cultural exchanges and traditional musical instrument performances performed by artisans and local people.

Melodies with the cultural influence of the Central Highlands harmonize with the sound of waterfalls, the green space of Mang Den mountains and forests, creating a vibrant and unique atmosphere at the tourist destination.

Besides enjoying music, visitors can also meet artisans, learn about and directly experience some traditional crafts of ethnic minorities, such as brocade weaving and making folk musical instruments.

Through experiential activities, traditional cultural values are vividly introduced to tourists. Each brocade product, each type of musical instrument and traditional sounds not only carry artistic value but are also associated with life, customs and cultural identity preserved through many generations.

Through the festival, Mang Den commune wishes to introduce the unique cultural beauty of the ethnic groups in Mang Den to tourists during the National Day of September 2nd.
