In July, the National Historical Relic Site 27/7 in Dai Phuc commune (Thai Nguyen) welcomed thousands of turns of officials, soldiers, students and people to offer incense, commemorate, and learn about history. This is a place marking the birth of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, and also becomes a red address for revolutionary tradition education, according to the Thai Nguyen Provincial e-Portal.
Dai Phuc is not only a peaceful countryside of Thai Nguyen province but also a place associated with a special milestone in the nation's history. In June 1947, a Conference was held here to discuss war invalids' work and agreed to choose July 27 as National War Invalids' Day.
On July 27, 1947, at the banyan tree root of Ban Co hamlet, Hung Son commune, Dai Tu district (now Dai Phuc commune), a meeting was held to announce Uncle Ho's letter recognizing the birth of National War Invalids' Day. In 1955, this day was renamed War Invalids and Martyrs' Day. In 1997, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee inaugurated the National Historical Relic Site on July 27 and erected a commemorative stele.
Up to now, items such as the memorial stele, incense offering area, document display area and landscape are still preserved and restored. The solemn and intimate space helps each visitor have the opportunity to look back at the historical milestones of the nation.
Every year, especially on July 27, many delegations, armed forces, youth union members, students, and pupils choose this place in their journey to the source.
Mr. Tong Anh Vu, a tourist from Linh Son ward, Thai Nguyen province, shared that when directly visiting and listening to stories about historical events at the relic, he felt more clearly the value of sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the nation.

For students, the Relic Site is an intuitive learning space, helping historical lessons become more vivid. Ms. Duong Thi Kieu Anh, a History teacher at Dai Tu High School (Thai Nguyen), said that organizing experiential learning at the relic contributes to fostering gratitude, awareness of preserving traditions and responsibility to the homeland and country.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hai Ha, Vice Chairman of Dai Phuc Commune People's Committee, the locality determines to preserve and promote the value of relics associated with sustainable tourism development. In the coming time, the commune will coordinate to complete infrastructure, improve service quality, promote digital transformation in promoting destinations, build appropriate experience programs, and at the same time mobilize people to participate in preserving the landscape and protecting the environment.
In the midst of modern life, the National Historical Relic Site 27.7 continues to be a place to preserve historical memories, educate patriotic traditions, the spirit of "Drinking water, remembering the source" and contribute to the development of cultural tourism, returning to the source of Thai Nguyen province.
