Hanoi - The pho restaurant on Thanh Bao Street (Ba Dinh, Hanoi) is a familiar address for many diners whenever they want to "change the wind" by eating chicken pho, bun thang...

Variation of traditional pho, mixed pho is one of the dishes loved by many diners in Hanoi.

Ms. Nguyen Huong An (Ba Dinh, Hanoi), owner of Mrs. Ba's chicken pho restaurant, shared: "Mixed chicken pho is the most popular dish at my restaurant. A bowl of mixed chicken pho usually includes pho cake, chicken and ingredients such as scallion oil, roasted peanuts, dried onions, raw vegetables, soy sauce, basil... The ingredients for mixed chicken pho are always prepared and processed cleanly by me to serve customers."

The owner also said that chicken is the most important part of this dish, so the restaurant always ensures that the chicken is of good quality and fresh. Usually, the restaurant uses chicken weighing about 2 - 2.5 kg, ensuring the meat is soft and sweet.

The special feature of the restaurant is the sauce made by the owner himself. The sauce is not complicated in ingredients, only includes soy sauce, sugar, fish sauce, salt and fat… but has a very unique rich flavor.

A bowl of chicken pho salad from the restaurant impresses diners with its fullness and delicious flavor. Soft and chewy pho noodles are mixed with tender cooked chicken, topped with roasted peanuts, onions and herbs.

After preparing all the ingredients, the owner skillfully poured a layer of shiny, rich, sweet sauce over the pho bowl. All of it blended together to create a delicious, attractive bowl of chicken pho.

With the mixed chicken pho dish, the restaurant has many options for customers to order according to their preferences such as wings, thighs, thigh cheeks, breast... On average, the restaurant sells 50 - 60kg of chicken per day, up to 70 - 80kg on weekends or holidays.

Ms. Tran Yen Nhi (Ba Dinh, Hanoi), a customer of the restaurant, shared: "A full bowl with soft chicken, crispy skin, mixed with the sauce, I find it quite strange and delicious."

Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang (Cau Giay, Hanoi), another diner, said: “I often eat here on weekends. The mixed chicken pho here is delicious and of good quality. What impressed me most is the restaurant's sauce, which has a light sweet taste so it's easy to eat.”

In addition to mixed chicken pho, the restaurant also serves traditional chicken pho, chicken pho with bamboo shoots and meatballs, and vermicelli soup. Prices range from 40,000 - 100,000 VND/bowl.
