The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (June 2) in regions across the country.
On June 2-3, the Northern region (except Quang Ninh and Hai Phong), North Central and Central Central regions will continue to experience hot weather, with intense heat in some places. The highest temperature is commonly from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places exceed 37 degrees Celsius. The relative lowest humidity during the day is commonly from 50-55%.
According to forecasts, the hot weather will concentrate from about 11 am to 4 pm daily. The widespread hot weather in the North, the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are likely to continue in the coming days.
Due to the impact of prolonged hot weather combined with reduced air humidity, the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas and forest fires increases, especially in the context of increased electricity demand. In addition, people and tourists need to pay attention that prolonged hot weather can also cause dehydration, exhaustion and affect health if people are exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
