Hanoi weather is about to welcome cold air and cooling rain

Dương Đông |

Hanoi weather forecast for the coming days shifts from hot to cool, accompanied by thunderstorms due to the impact of late-season cold air.

According to the latest weather forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Hanoi weather today April 13th is cloudy, no rain, temperature around 27 degrees Celsius in the early morning, high humidity above 90%, feeling coorish.

The highest temperature is about 35 degrees Celsius, with light heat in the afternoon.

From around April 14-15, a late-season cold air mass from mainland China begins to pour down, causing the heat in the North to gradually decrease and is likely to end around April 16. This is a noteworthy development in the medium-term weather forecast trend.

On April 17, the weather in Hanoi changed when it turned cloudy, with thunderstorms. The temperature dropped to about 30 degrees Celsius. This is the time when the base temperature dropped significantly compared to the previous days.

From April 18th to April 20th, Hanoi weather maintains a cloudy state, no rain, temperature fluctuates from 31-32 degrees C, no longer intense heat but still maintains a feeling of mild heat during the day.

On April 21 to April 22, the temperature tends to increase again, commonly 33 degrees Celsius, cloudy, no rain.

Due to the influence of late-season cold air, from April 16-18, the weather in the North may experience showers and thunderstorms.

Especially the midland and mountainous areas of the Northern region are likely to experience moderate rain, with heavy rain in some places, accompanied by dangerous weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

According to additional forecasts from AccuWeather, Hanoi temperature tends to drop sharply towards the end of the week. By Friday, the temperature may drop by about 11 degrees compared to the beginning of the week, commonly 23-28 degrees Celsius.

In high mountainous areas such as Sa Pa (Lao Cai), the temperature in the first days of the week fluctuates from 17-29 degrees Celsius, then drops deeply to about 13-17 degrees Celsius at the end of the week.

People and tourists need to pay special attention to rapid weather changes during this period. In hot early week days, you should limit outdoor activities at noon, replenish water and protect your skin from strong radiation.

From mid-week onwards, when the weather forecast shows thunderstorms, it is necessary to proactively adjust the schedule, limit moving in the late afternoon and avoid hilly and steep areas due to the risk of flash floods and landslides.

In addition, you should prepare raincoats, slipperproof shoes and closely follow weather forecasts to ensure safety throughout the journey.
