The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (April 14) in regions across the country.
The Northwest region experiences hot sun, with intense hot sun in some places with the highest common temperature of 35-37 degrees C, in some places above 37 degrees C; the relative lowest humidity is commonly from 40-45%. The Northeast region experiences localized hot sun, with the highest temperature in some places above 35 degrees C.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue has intense and especially intense heat, the highest temperature is commonly 38-40 degrees C, in some places above 40 degrees C; the relative lowest humidity is commonly from 30-35%.
Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak have hot and intense heat, the highest temperature is commonly 36-38 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius; the relative lowest humidity is commonly from 35-40%.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions are hot with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C; the relative lowest humidity is commonly from 45-50%.
Hot weather in the Northwest, Central Highlands and Southern regions tends to gradually cool down from April 16; while the Central region continues to maintain hot weather, from April 17 it is likely to gradually decrease.
Disaster risk level: Level 1; especially the area from Nghe An to Quang Tri is level 2.
Prolonged heat increases the risk of fires and explosions due to increased electricity demand while air humidity is low, posing a risk of fires in residential areas as well as forest fires.
At the same time, hot weather also directly affects the health of people and tourists, easily causing dehydration, exhaustion and increasing the risk of stroke due to heat shock when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
