Here is a summary of experiences to help you have the best position to observe the air personality performance at the parade, the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 in Hanoi.
General information about the plane performance
Participating forces: 9 air forces with 30 aircraft of all kinds (helicopters, CASA, Su-30...).
Flight route: The squadron will take off from Hoa Lac, Gia Lam (Hanoi), Kep (Bac Ninh) airports, then fly through iconic locations of the capital such as Nhat Tan bridge, Red River, West lake, Hoan Kiem lake and towards Ba Dinh Square.
Schedule to know
Official performance time: Morning of September 2, from 6:30.
Rehearsals: The aircraft performance will also take place during the Rehearsals and Rehearsals on August 27 and 30 (if the weather is favorable) after having a flight journey at the training sessions.
Flight time frame: Based on test flights, the squadron usually takes off at around 6:00 - 6:30. The entire performance only lasted about 15 minutes.
Ideal observation location
Depending on your conditions and preferences, you can choose a beautiful location above to see the whole view or below to feel the majesty at close range.

This is the best choice to see all the flight formations, especially high-altitude and fast Su aircraft.
"Golden" location: The rooftops of high-rise buildings (from 30 floors or more) in the wards: Phu Thuong, Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam.
Areas to avoid: Areas such as My Dinh or Long Bien, although you can see the plane, are not the most beautiful view because this is the take-off and landing area.
Observation from below
If you don't have high conditions, you can still enjoy the plane performance in airy spaces.
Ideal location: Large areas with little cover are located on the flight axis towards Ba Dinh Square, typically the area around Hoan Kiem Lake.
Important note: Ba Dinh Square area will limit people's travel on September 2.
You should choose neighboring locations such as: Nguyen Thai Hoc - Hung Vuong - Hang Chao intersection; broad routes such as Dien Bien Phu, Le Hong Phong.
Beautiful photography and filming experience
Location
For close-up photos: The area near Ba Dinh Square or Hoan Kiem Lake is an ideal photo corner to capture the moment the Mi helicopter and the CASA transport aircraft fly at close range.
To have a beautiful setting: Streets such as Tran Phu, Le Hong Phong, Nguyen Tri Phuong have many trees and beautiful architectural works, creating an impressive frame.
Equipment
Prioritize phones or cameras with good zoom ( release) features.
Use burst mode or video recording to ensure you don't miss the key moment when the plane passes by.
