The forecast for the autumn of red and yellow leaves in Korea in 2025 shows that the time when the first leaves change color and the time when the most beautiful peak will be later than usual.
The reason is that the temperature in September and October is higher than expected, so the best time to see the beautiful leaves in Korea will fall from late October to early November.

According to the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), after a prolonged summer heat, the cool autumn air will bring brilliant colors to trees across Korea, starting from the north of the country. The first point is Seoraksan mountain peak, the forest here begins to change color from September 30, the most beautiful mountain and forest scenery on October 23.
Next are sites such as Jirisan Mountain (which started with red leaves on October 13), Hallasan Mountain on Jeju Island (which started with red leaves on October 14) and Bukhansan Mountain (which started with red leaves on October 17). The most beautiful leaves are expected to change color across Korea from late October to early November.

Some attractions to visit during the beautiful yellow and red leaf season in the capital Seoul that visitors cannot miss are Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul Forest, Olympic Park, Seokchonhosu Lake. The yellow leaves of the eucalyptus trees on the side of Deoksugung Palace and the Myeongnyundang Hall of Sungkyunkwan University also attract equally many visitors.
Famous autumn leaf attractions outside Seoul include Hwadam bus station, Nami island, Morning Calm garden. In addition, visitors who are passionate about photography and love to explore nature further can visit Bbaljae Pass in Danyang, the mangrove forest in Hongcheon, Jangtaesan Mountain in Daejeon, Baegyangsa Pagoda in Jangseong, the Metasequoia route in Damyang, and Bulguksa Pagoda in Gyeongju.
