Move
Currently, traveling to Con Dao is no longer too difficult with many options from air to waterway.
If departing from Hanoi, you can fly directly with round-trip tickets from 3,000 VND. From Ho Chi Minh City, flights to Con Dao airport only take about 1 hour.
Waterway is also an interesting choice for those who want to admire the sea scenery. The Vung Tau - Con Dao high-speed train route takes about 4 hours to travel. From April 15, ticket prices have been adjusted very attractively. VIP tickets are about 950,000 VND/trip, regular tickets are from 560,000 - 69,000 VND/trip.
From the Mekong Delta, tourists can go from Tran De port (Can Tho) with a travel time of just over 2 hours. Ticket prices range from 400,000 - 600,000 VND/trip.
Detailed schedule 4 days 3 nights
On the first day, after landing or getting off the plane, visitors can return to the hotel in Con Dao to check in and rest. After lunch with fresh seafood, start your journey by immersing yourself in the clear blue water at An Hoi Beach or Lo Voi Beach. These are two beaches near the center, very convenient for travel.
In the afternoon, you can drive to admire the beautiful sunset on the sea.
On the 2nd day, tourists should wake up early and run straight to Bai Nhat. This is the most beautiful time of day for the sea.
Don't forget to stop and check-in at Mui Ca Map. A small secret is that near the beach there is a mountain climbing path. Just a few minutes of walking, visitors will fully capture the panoramic view of Bai Nhat from above, as beautiful as a painting.
In the afternoon, you run back to the north of the island to reach Mui Chan Chim and Mui Tau Be. The afternoon sun here is extremely brilliant, suitable for virtual photos with millions of likes.
In the evening, an indispensable activity when coming to Con Dao is visiting Hang Duong Cemetery. In a quiet and sacred space, lighting an incense stick to commemorate heroic martyrs and Miss Sau will make our hearts feel lighter and more grateful.
On the 3rd day, stroll around the central area, visit Chúa Đảo Palace to learn more about history. If you still have strength, visitors can challenge themselves by climbing Lò Vôi mountain (about 30 minutes) to see the town from above.
Visiting Dam Trau beach at noon. This is a unique beach where you can both swim and watch planes land close to the slope right above your head.
Around 11 am onwards, there are usually about 3 flights landing. Nearby, there is Mieu Ba Phi Yen, you can visit to burn incense.
Visitors continue their spiritual afternoon journey at An Son Mieu and Van Son Tu Nui Mot. This is the pagoda with the most beautiful architecture on the island with panoramic views of An Hai Lake. Then you return to Bai Nhat, climb onto large rocky outcrops to capture the last rays of the day.
On the last day in Con Dao, you can stroll around Ben Dam storm shelter to see fishermen catching seafood or visit the Heritage Tree at Con Dao National Park. At noon, tourists have a light snack, check out and go to the airport to end their journey.

Con Dao cuisine is very diverse, from popular to high-end, including floating restaurants on the sea. Here, visitors can enjoy all kinds of fresh seafood at stable listed prices, without worrying about overcharging.
To save costs, you can visit some ordinary restaurants such as Small Seafood Rice at No. 5 Tran Phu, Con Dao Squid Hu Tieu No. 5 Le Hong Phong or Hao Hao rice shop on Pham Hung street.
