According to the report of the City People's Committee Party Committee, the Con Son - Kiep Bac Historical - Cultural Relic Site Conservation Project associated with tourism development was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 920/QD-TTg dated June 18, 2010 to preserve and conserve the historical and cultural values of the Con Son - Kiep Bac special national relic site. Thereby, meeting the needs of people when coming to visit, worship and learn about history, helping to diversify tourism products at the relic site. Thereby, contributing to promoting the development of the city's tourism industry.
Regarding the investment scale, the Kien Bac Temple Area will renovate Vien Lang Lake (Ngoc Lake); renovate the guest house of the Kien Bac Temple. Con Son pagoda area, renovate the semi-month-old lake item; invest in infrastructure for the parking lot southwest of Ban Nguyet lake; build a new waiting house at the parking lot.
At the meeting, the City People's Committee Party Committee proposed that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee adjust the total investment of the project, project implementation time, project implementation capital, project implementation location, and investor name.
After listening to the reports and opinions of the delegates, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee agreed to adjust the project investment policy. Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau stated that the adjustment of the investment policy for the Con Son - Kiep Bac Historical - Cultural Relic Site Conservation Project aims to improve the quality of restoration and embellishment work, promote the value of relics in a sustainable way, worthy of the position of the relic site. The Party Committee of the City People's Committee and relevant departments, branches and sectors must complete the necessary procedures to promptly implement and speed up the project progress in accordance with regulations.
