After a trip with her family, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hoai, a tourist from Quang Ninh, shared that Hat Waterfall in Lang Son is a quite worthwhile stopover this summer.
According to her, this place is not too crowded for mass tourism, the landscape still retains its natural beauty, cool water and spacious space.
From Hanoi, tourists take about more than 2 hours to reach Hạt Waterfall. The entrance road is quite easy to travel, cars can move conveniently and park comfortably. This area currently charges parking fees of about 30,000 VND per car, and tourists do not have to pay for waterfall bathing.

My first impression is that the waterfall is not too high but very wide, with a lot of water and cool. I went quite crowded the other day, but because the waterfall is wide and long, I can still swim comfortably, without feeling crowded," Ms. Hoai recounted.
According to the female tourist's experience, Hat Waterfall is suitable for groups of young people, families or people who want to find a hot spot near Hanoi.
The water flows through many layers of rock, forming wide stream sections. Surrounded by trees, rocky mountains and airy space, bringing a comfortable feeling after a journey.
A convenient point is that right near the waterfall there is a restaurant serving tourists. Those who want to be more proactive can prepare food to take with them to grill and rest by the stream.

However, Ms. Hoai said that the number of stalls is not yet large, and the space is still a bit small. If traveling on weekends, tourists should come early or prepare additional rest options.
Ms. Hoai's family chose to have lunch at a nearby homestay, then moved to the waterfall to drink water, rest and wait for the cool afternoon to shower. According to her, this way of going is quite reasonable because it avoids the harsh midday sun.
In addition to bathing in the stream, visitors can rent SUPs to row for about 100,000 VND per hour.
Life jackets are rented for about 20,000 VND per piece. In general, the services here have quite affordable prices, suitable for short trips during the day or weekend.
However, Ms. Hoai reminded families with young children to consider carefully. Some sections of water are as deep as an adult's belly or deeper, and there are quite a lot of rocks under the stream bed, making it easy to slip. Young children, if they go into the water, need to be closely accompanied by adults and should wear life jackets.
The changing and bathing area is currently on the residential side near the waterfall, but visitors have to walk a distance.

According to her, if you want to have more choices of food, accommodation and amenities, tourists can stay outside the center of Huu Lung commune instead of staying right near the waterfall.
Personally, I think Hat Waterfall is very worth visiting. Beautiful scenery, clear water, wide waterfall, cool air and still wild. If you want to temporarily leave the air conditioner and phone to immerse yourself in nature, this is a very good choice," Ms. Hoai said.
According to local people, Hat Waterfall usually has water in the water season, from about May to October of the solar calendar.
Because the waterfall is made of many layers of rock and steep terrain, when heavy rain or water comes in a lot, the flow may be strong. Visitors should monitor the weather before the trip, do not swim when the water is high and should wear life jackets to ensure safety.
