On the journey to explore spring bathing spots and avoid the heat in Lang Son, many tourists often mention Hat Waterfall as a familiar destination.
However, right nearby there is another stream that few people know about but that leaves many impressions on those who love the natural, quiet beauty. That is Deo Rong Waterfall, belonging to Cai Kinh commune.
After the trip with her family, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hoai, a tourist from Quang Ninh, shared that this place surprised her because the scenery was still pristine and deserted.

Right near Hat Waterfall, there is a beautiful stream that I like even more, it's free but very few people know," Ms. Hoai said.
According to the female tourist's experience, Deo Rong Waterfall is about 10km from Hat Waterfall, so visitors can combine visiting both points in one trip. The entrance road is relatively easy to move, only about 300m at the end is a bit small and bumpy.
Low-chassis cars can still pass, but the road is only enough for one car, so if you encounter an oncoming car, it will be a bit difficult to avoid. When you get there, the area inside still has a place to turn around.

A plus point of Deo Rong Waterfall is that it is currently not charged for swimming in the stream, and there is also no parking fee.
Along the stream, there are rest stops for tourists to sit, eat, and rest. Families and groups of friends can prepare food themselves or order food from outside, which is quite convenient for a short picnic during the day.
What impressed Ms. Hoai the most was the peaceful beauty of the stream. Surrounding the area are majestic limestone mountain ranges, creating a feeling of separation from the noise.
The stream water is clear and blue, with sections clearly showing the bottom, along with moss and rocks under the water. The water is clean and cool, suitable for soaking in hot summer days.
Especially, by the stream, there is a large fich that hangs horizontally, casting shade down a wide area. Thanks to this canopy, visitors can sit and rest or swim in the stream without too much worry about the harsh sun.

The stream is not as wide as Hat Waterfall but quite long, you can walk along to explore. My family has been playing for almost half a day and still doesn't want to go home," Ms. Hoai shared.
If Hat Waterfall impresses with its majesty, Deo Rong Waterfall is captivating with its gentle, pristine beauty and feeling of relaxation.
It is the desertedness, not being exploited much, that makes this place likened to a "hidden gem" in the mountains and forests of Cai Kinh commune.
However, tourists also need to pay attention to safety when swimming in the stream. Below there are quite a lot of rocks, some sections are deep water.
Families with young children need to observe carefully, do not let children go into the water or go away from adults' eyes. People who cannot swim should prepare life jackets or lifebuoys to ensure safety.
For those who like destinations that still retain their natural beauty, want to avoid crowded scenes and find a space to truly immerse themselves in nature, Deo Rong Waterfall is a suggestion worth considering when coming to Lang Son.
However, the important thing is that each tourist needs to be conscious of maintaining hygiene, not littering, not leaving food packaging, plastic bottles or charcoal by the stream.
A beautiful stream can only retain its freshness if the person who comes later still sees that place as clean and pristine as the first people they met.
