On January 15, the Pho Museum - the first culinary museum of Vietnam officially opened. Mr. Tran Van Bac - Founder of the Pho Museum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Tourist Destination Joint Stock Company - said that the museum was formed with the aim of recreating the journey of more than 100 years of Vietnamese pho, from street vendors to becoming a popular dish globally.
s
The Museum aims to preserve, develop and spread the value of Vietnamese culinary cultural heritage to domestic and international visitors. The Museum hopes to contribute to connecting and promoting Vietnamese culinary cultural heritage associated with the development of cultural tourism, a field that is of particular concern to the Government.
a
Pho Museum is built as a specialized museum on cuisine, taking pho - a typical dish of Vietnamese culture as a center for display and storytelling. The story of pho is recreated through many forms such as film screenings, displaying artifacts, installation art and vivid interactive experiences, thereby spreading the quintessence of Vietnamese culinary culture in close connection with the daily life and society of Vietnamese people.
a
With a total area of about 800 m2, including 3 experiential floors, the Pho Museum operates according to a closed-door model in about 60-75 minutes. The journey is designed according to a storytelling circuit, guiding visitors from historical context, cultural space to culinary experience, thereby helping viewers understand the story of pho and love the pho culture of the nation more.

In particular, culinary experiences are arranged at the end of the tour, as a way to close the story of pho with each visitor's personal feelings.
