Journey to conquer Thanh Dang mountain
In September 2026, Mr. Hoang Van Bac (Bac Ninh) and his friends chose Thanh Dang mountain as a climbing point. According to Mr. Bac, the group started their journey from the main gate of Ba Vang Pagoda. After about 1 hour of travel, the whole group reached the top.
I think this route is not too long, it only takes about 1 hour of climbing, suitable for day trips," Mr. Bac shared.
What impressed Mr. Bac the most was the scenery when he reached the top. From above, he could admire the vast space of Uong Bi city (old). With a morning departure schedule, his group could conquer the mountain peak and then descend the mountain in one morning.
Beautiful seasons in Thanh Dang
Before the trip, Mr. Bac learned about Thanh Dang mountain and learned that this area has seasonally changing landscapes. The green grass season usually lasts from about March to August, while the burning grass season starts from about September and lasts until January of the following year.
In September, the weather is favorable, so I take advantage of going with friends to experience it. Each season has its own beauty, but if you go on sunny days, you can see the very wide scenery from the top," Mr. Bac said.
According to Mr. Bac, tourists can choose to go in the early morning to avoid the sun or start in the afternoon if they want to combine watching the sunset on the mountain. However, before going, everyone should check the weather, and should not get off the mountain too late.
Items to prepare
From practical experience, Mr. Bac believes that good-grip shoes are items that need to be prioritized because there are slippery sections on the climbing path. Tourists should also choose comfortable and convenient outfits for travel.
In addition, tourists should prepare enough drinking water and some snacks for the journey. After resting and eating, it is necessary to collect garbage and take it down the mountain, do not litter indiscriminately to maintain the landscape and environmental sanitation at Thanh Dang mountain.
