    The Going to the Field Festival of the Cao Lan ethnic people (Phu Tho) attracts a large number of tourists at the "Spring Colors across the country" program in 2026.

    Ngày 28.2, tại Làng Văn hóa Du lịch các dân tộc Việt Nam diễn ra nhiều hoạt động văn hóa đa sắc màu, đậm bản sắc truyền thống của các dân tộc Việt Nam. Trong đó, lễ hội xuống đồng của đồng bào dân tộc Cao Lan (tỉnh Phú Thọ) được tổ chức thu hút đông đảo du khách.
    On February 28th, many colorful cultural activities, imbued with the traditional identity of Vietnamese ethnic groups, took place at the Village of Culture and Tourism of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups. Among them, the field descending festival of the Cao Lan ethnic group (Phu Tho province) attracted a large number of tourists.
    Lễ hội xuống đồng (hay còn gọi là lễ hội lồng tồng) không chỉ là dịp vui xuân, mà còn là dịp để giao lưu cộng đồng, để các bản làng thêm gắn bó, để tình làng nghĩa xóm thêm bền chặt. Đây là lúc mọi người cùng chia sẻ niềm vui ngày hội; gặp gỡ, thăm hỏi đầu năm; trao nhau những lời chúc tốt đẹp cho một năm mới an lành.
    The field-going festival (also known as Long Tong festival) is not only a time to enjoy spring, but also an opportunity for community exchange, to make villages more attached, to make village and neighborhood affection more strong. This is the time for everyone to share the joy of the festival; meet, visit at the beginning of the year; exchange good wishes for a peaceful new year.
    Lễ hội xuống đồng gồm 2 phần chính: Phần lễ và phần hội. Trong đó, phần Lễ là phần quan trọng nhất, được tổ chức với sự trang nghiêm, thành kính, thể hiện lòng biết ơn sâu sắc của con người đối với trời đất, tổ tiên và các vị thần linh, đặc biệt là thần Nông.
    The field descending festival consists of 2 main parts: the ceremony part and the festival part. In which, the ceremony part is the most important part, organized with solemnity and reverence, expressing the deep gratitude of humans to heaven and earth, ancestors and gods, especially the God of Agriculture.
    Các nghi thức trong phần Lễ được tiến hành theo phong tục truyền thống lâu đời, do các bậc cao niên, thầy cúng - những người am hiểu phong tục tập quán của dân tộc trực tiếp chủ trì.
    The rituals in the Ceremony part are carried out according to long-standing traditional customs, directly presided over by elders and shamans - people who understand the customs and habits of the nation.
    Lễ vật được chuẩn bị gồm xôi, gà, bánh chim, hoa quả...Từng lễ vật với thiên nhiên, đất đai và thành quả lao động của con người được chuẩn bị chu đáo, từng lời khấn được cất lên bằng tiếng Cao Lan đều thể hiện sự trân trọng đối với thiên nhiên, đất đai và thành quả lao động của con người.
    Offerings prepared include sticky rice, chicken, bird cakes, fruits... Each offering to nature, land and human labor achievements is carefully prepared, each prayer raised in Cao Lan language expresses respect for nature, land and human labor achievements.

    Trong lễ hội, nghi thức xuống đồng đầu năm với những đường cày, đường cuốc đầu tiên và những hạt giống được gieo xuống ruộng mang ý nghĩa quan trọng.
    The ritual of going to the fields at the beginning of the year with the first plowing lines, hoes and seeds sown in the fields is of great significance.
    Nghi thức không chỉ mang ý nghĩa mở đầu cho một vụ mùa mới, mà còn là lời cầu mong cho sự khởi đầu hanh thông, thuận lợi, báo hiệu một năm sản xuất đầy hy vọng.
    The ritual not only has the meaning of opening a new crop season, but is also a prayer for a smooth and favorable start, signaling a year of hopeful production.

    Các hoạt động trong sự kiện không chỉ góp phần làm cho lễ hội thêm rực rỡ sắc màu văn hóa, mà còn là minh chứng sinh động cho tinh thần đoàn kết, gắn bó của cộng đồng các dân tộc Việt Nam - cùng chung cội nguồn, cùng gìn giữ và trao truyền những giá trị văn hóa truyền thống quý báu của cha ông…
    The activities in the event not only contribute to making the festival more colorful in culture, but also are a vivid proof of the solidarity and attachment of the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups - sharing the same origin, preserving and transmitting the precious traditional cultural values of our ancestors.
