Speaking at the festival, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized that the annual event "Spring Colors across the country" in 2026 is of great significance.
This is an opportunity not only for ethnic communities to meet, exchange, and connect in the warm atmosphere of the new spring, but also a vivid symbol of the great national unity bloc, contributing to arousing pride in origin, love for homeland, country and the strong aspiration of the Vietnamese nation to rise up in the new era of development," the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, in recent years, under the leadership of the Party and State, levels, sectors, and localities; with the joint efforts and consensus of ethnic minorities, the work of preserving, maintaining and promoting traditional cultural values has achieved many important results, creating a widespread impact in social life.
Also at the festival, the Deputy Prime Minister requested all levels, sectors, and localities to focus on paying attention to ethnic minority areas, remote and isolated areas, border areas and islands, with specific measures to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
Increase investment in digital transformation to preserve heritage, support artisans to use technology in creation and transmission; promote cultural industry and community tourism to create sustainable livelihoods; encourage community participation.
At the same time, it is necessary to diversify forms of cultural exchange, take advantage of the strength of international integration to spread the image of the country and people of Vietnam, turn the richness of cultural resources into economic development opportunities, touching the hearts of international friends.
Continue to promote the role of the Village of Culture - Tourism of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups as a national and international cultural center, a place that regularly organizes exchanges, exchanges and unique cultural performances.
The Cultural Village needs to continue to be synchronously invested in infrastructure and develop sustainable cultural tourism products. Thereby, affirming the "common home" position of the 54 ethnic communities, contributing to spreading the image of a Vietnam rich in tradition and friendly to people, domestic tourists and international friends.


At the Festival, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung shared: "Each ritual, each folk song, each custom, practice recreated today is not only a cultural performance activity, but also a continuation of history, an affirmation of identity, the transmission, preservation and spread of the sustainable values of the Vietnamese nation.
That reality further affirms that preserving and promoting cultural values is not only the responsibility of the cultural sector alone, but also the common responsibility of the entire political system and the whole society.

Spring Colors in all regions of the Fatherland" festival takes place in 3 days, from February 27 - 01. 03. The event gathers about 300 people from 32 ethnic communities of 15 provinces and cities, bringing a colorful cultural space, imbued with traditional identity.
The event has the participation of representatives of many ethnic groups and regions such as E De, Gia Rai (Dak Lak), Khmer (Ca Mau), Cao Lan - San Chay (Phu Tho), Kinh (Thanh Hoa)... Delegations will directly recreate traditional rituals, perform folk culture and introduce local specialties.
On February 28, the art program "Celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the country's spring" took place, the San Chay people's field festival of Phu Tho province and the exchange program "Spring Colors of the Highlands".
On March 1st, the cultural space continued to be extended with the Health Worshiping Ceremony of Gia Rai people, performances of Don ca tai tu art, Dong Thap folk songs and exchange activities to promote regional heritage.
