To celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day, Yen Binh commune (Lao Cai province) will organize the "Echoes of Thac Ba Lake" Festival in 2026 with many unique activities, associated with local tourism development.

According to the plan, the opening ceremony will take place at 7:30 am on April 30 at Ruby eco-tourism site (village 13, Yen Binh commune). The program is organized on a large scale with outstanding activities such as water motorbike performances, open bamboo boat races on Thac Ba Lake and many games, sports activities, and exciting water entertainment.
Not only stopping at experiential activities, from April 29 to the end of May 3, the event area also arranges space to display OCOP products, specialties and key products of the locality.
This is an opportunity to promote the image, connect product consumption, and expand cooperation opportunities and attract investment.

Notably, many tourist tours to explore the national scenic spot of Thac Ba Lake are also being built and exploited throughout the holidays and in 2026.
Visitors can choose sightseeing routes such as Thac Ba Hydropower Plant, Thuy Tien Cave, Thac Ba Temple, traditional craft villages and community tourist destinations, thereby fully experiencing the beauty of nature and indigenous culture.

The "Echoes of Thac Ba Lake" festival is not only a highlight attracting tourists but also contributes to promoting the image of Yen Binh land and people, honoring the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities.
At the same time, the event is expected to create a space for exchange, business connection, promote sustainable tourism development, raise community awareness in environmental protection and ensure waterway traffic safety.
