“I find the program very interesting with impressive performances from Vietnamese artists. In Mexico, occasions like National Day or major holidays often have special programs like this. Therefore, I feel happy and happy to have the opportunity to admire performances imbued with Hanoi cultural identity in such a large cultural program in Vietnam,” Ms. Janelly Martínez shared.
The Mexican female tourist was also surprised to have the opportunity to immerse herself in the vibrant atmosphere in the pedestrian street space. For a tourist who comes to Vietnam for the first time, being able to directly witness an art program in the central space of Hanoi brings a different experience than just visiting tourist attractions.
Not only Janelly Martínez, Mr. Oliver Husdon, a tourist from Australia, also paid much attention to art programs in the pedestrian street area.
I really like listening to Vietnamese music, from the melody to the atmosphere. Everyone cheers very enthusiastically. I have immersed myself in the atmosphere and music here," Mr. Oliver shared.
According to records, the attraction of Ho Hoan Kiem pedestrian street area does not only come from stages and performances. Community activities taking place regularly around the lake also create opportunities for tourists to participate directly, instead of just standing and watching.
Ms. Lillia, a tourist from Russia, and a group of friends had the opportunity to harmonize with middle-aged girls in dance and aerobics activities in the lakeside area.
Simple movements, open atmosphere and enthusiastic guidance from the people helped the group of tourists quickly integrate.
“We were very happy to be guided very enthusiastically by the teachers. We have experienced fun outings with the teachers,” Ms. Lillia shared.
