Taking place from June 26 to 28 in Tay Ho ward, the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2026 is expected to become one of the most prominent cultural events of the Capital this year.
It is expected that the synchronized performance and parade program with the participation of 2,000 people wearing ao dai with lotus motifs is considered the highlight of the festival. The parade will move through the roads along West Lake before performing a large-scale art formation.
The image of thousands of ao dai gathering together, forming a giant lotus on the lake surface, is expected to become the most impressive moment of the festival, and at the same time aims to establish a Vietnam Record for "The largest number of people wearing ao dai with lotus motifs participating in the festival".

Besides the record-setting activity, this year's festival also impressed with a large-scale lotus pond display space right in the middle of the organizing area.
For the first time, dozens of unique lotus varieties from many regions are gathered in a common space, from Bach Diep lotus in West Lake, Hue royal lotus, Nghe An lotus to Dong Thap lotus.
The space is designed with a system of bamboo bridges leading water, artistic miniatures and the "Vietnamese Lotus Map" model, helping visitors easily visit, learn and keep beautiful photos in the lotus blooming season.

According to the organizers, the time from 6 am to 8 am is the most ideal time to enjoy lotus. This is when the lotus flowers begin to bloom, emit a gentle fragrance and show off their pure beauty under the sunrise.
In addition to experiential activities, the festival also brings many unique cultural spaces such as lotus silk weaving performances, introducing handicrafts, enjoying lotus tea and exploring traditional lotus cuisine.
Through a series of diverse activities, the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2026 contributes to honoring the beauty of lotus flowers - symbols of the soul, spirit and character of Vietnamese people; and at the same time promotes the image of Hanoi land and people, promoting tourism, culture and creative products associated with lotus.
The organizers also encourage people and tourists to wear ao dai when participating in the festival, and at the same time share images on social networks with hashtags #LeHoiSenHaNoi2026, #SenTayHo to spread the beauty of the West Lake lotus season to the general public.
