As a famous British travel blogger, Mr. Jack Atkins - owner of Packwith jack channels on Instagram and TikTok, has set foot in dozens of countries around the world. However, Vietnam left him with a special mark.
Actually, I originally intended to visit Vietnam as a stop in the middle of my trip from Thailand to Laos. But unexpectedly, it became the brightest spot in the whole journey, Jack shared.
One of the reasons why the urban guy from London cannot forget Vietnam is a strange and humorous experience: raising ducks.

I never thought Vietnam would have such a strange activity for tourists. A friend of mine, Zoe, participated in and recorded the video. When I saw her become a "head of the flock", I could only think: I had to try it, I love ducks!, Jack answered Lao Dong.
After that suggestion, Jack decided to go to rural Vietnam to participate in duck raising activities - an experience that is rare for Western tourists.
Although he admitted that he was too busy filming TikTok so I couldnt cover the ducks, he still clearly remembered the feeling of both chaos and excitement when holding bags of nuts to guide the ducks.
I even threw nuts at my friends so that the ducks could chase them, it was a crazy day but it was fun, he said.
The place that provides unique duck raising services is located near the Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage area, Quang Binh province. The idea for guests to experience duck carpets and duck massage was initiated and developed by Mr. Tran Van Quynh in recent years.
When visiting the farm, visitors will be given a conical hat and a pair of sandals to wear throughout the experience. Each type of service has a different price, depending on the form chosen by the customer. In particular, playing the role of " duck leader" is the most popular highlight.
Not only that, the farm also offers buffalo riding services around lush green rice fields. On the TripAdvisor platform, many international tourists have left positive reviews about this special experience.

In addition to the experience of raising ducks in Vietnam, Jack also had the opportunity to explore the roads of Ha Giang - which, according to him, is "an almost mandatory experience" if someone wanted to understand the true beauty of the S-shaped country.
Although the heavy rain caused him to miss the opportunity to ride buffaloes, the moments in the northern mountainous region are still deeply imprinted in the young blogger's memory.
Not only the natural scenery and memorable activities, the rural atmosphere and the diverse people are also what impressed Jack about Vietnam.
Born and raised in London, Jack was surprised when he first met life in rural Vietnam.
I am used to urban life - modern, bustling. Here, everything is simple, slow, and peaceful. It's really different. It was almost a different world, he recalled.

Although language disagreements make him unable to converse much with locals, Jack still finds connection through small actions.
One of the most touching moments was when he took a drone out to film a village scene when a group of local children surrounded him.
Children watching me control drones, looking at screens, curious and excited. It's really cute. It was a sweet memory, the male tourist expressed.

For Jack, Vietnam is not a place that can be summarized in a few lines of description. People often ask me: What does Vietnam have? But I think it is impossible to describe accurately if you have not experienced it yourself. Vietnam has everything: bustling big cities like Ho Chi Minh City, peaceful countryside, majestic mountains, and even very random things like... raising ducks. You have to come and feel it yourself.
After that journey, for Jack - Vietnam is not just a destination on the map. It is a place to remember, to tell, and to return to.
I still dream of that place. Still remember what I experienced there. For me, Vietnam is a part of my dream, said the male tourist.
