Ms. Nguyen Quy's family (Hanoi) was present in the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area from early morning to attend the flag-raising ceremony, then combined with visiting destinations in the central area of the Capital. This is one of many families choosing historical and cultural landmarks in their holiday travel journey.

For many people, visiting Uncle Ho's Mausoleum on National Day also has special meaning. Ms. Phan Thu Hoa (Gia Lai) spent 5 days in Hanoi with her daughter and son-in-law. During the trip, the family chose the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoa Lo Prison and watched the flag-raising ceremony in Hanoi for the first time.

Ms. Hoa shared: "The first time I watched the flag-raising ceremony in Hanoi, I was very touched. Seeing many people gathering on the holiday, I clearly felt pride and gratitude. My family spent 5 days in Hanoi to visit the Capital, and learn more about national history.

In the Hoan Kiem Lake area, the atmosphere is also bustling from early morning. Flower spaces and landscapes around the lake have become stopovers and photo spots for many families and groups of friends during the holiday.

Not only outdoor spaces, cultural and historical destinations also recorded a large number of visitors.

At the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, during the National Day, many activities take place in the Ho Van area and the inner sanctuary such as folk games, physical games, art performances, exchanges and experiences at booths. The city also opens free of charge scenic spots, historical relics and cultural works on September 2nd for Vietnamese people.

Hoa Lo prison is also one of the destinations chosen by many people. In the early days of the holiday, the number of domestic and international visitors here is quite large. The thematic exhibition "Tâm son, chí thép" and historical introduction activities organized during the National Day contribute to attracting visitors.

The number of people flocking to the central area also leads to a large demand for parking spaces. According to records, a company has arranged about 27 free parking spots in Hoan Kiem ward and surrounding areas. The parking lot in front of Hanoi Children's Cultural Palace on Ly Thai To street alone has thousands of vehicles parked every day, according to information recorded at the scene.

The city also arranges many free parking points in parks, relics, public areas and some streets until the end of September 2nd to serve people and tourists during the holidays.
