Travel + Leisure has just announced a list of 25 most suitable international destinations for traveling alone, based on four criteria: safety, access, friendliness of residents and cultural and natural experiences. According to the magazine, solo travel helps tourists freely travel according to their preferences, understand themselves better and deeply explore the local identity.
Ranked 5th on the list, Vietnam is considered a country rich in adventure elements, possessing spectacular landscapes and a tourism environment friendly to solo travelers.
In particular, the tour to explore Son Doong - the largest natural cave in the world - is mentioned as a symbol of the spirit of adventure. The multi-day journey through the forest, mangrove forests, and giant sinkholes brings physical and emotional challenges to visitors traveling alone.

For those who love the waterway journey, the Ha Long - Bai Tu Long Bay route is suggested thanks to its emerald green water surface, peaceful and less crowded scenery. This is an ideal choice for slow trips, finding peace.
Hoi An continues to be a highlight in the Central region. On a full night, the old town is lit up by hundreds of flower lanterns on the Thu Bon River, creating a sparkling moment that Travel + Leisure describes as easily "overwhelming", especially suitable for those who travel alone to maintain a peaceful feeling.

The magazine introduces Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic and accessible place for tourists alone, from street food at Ben Thanh market to historical attractions such as the War Relics Museum or Cu Chi topography.
In the North, Hanoi has a completely different color: ancient, ancient and multi-layered. The old town, museums, walks around Hoan Kiem Lake... all bring a feeling of relaxation to visitors who want to enjoy the slow pace of life.
Vietnam is highly appreciated by Travel + Leisure for its rare balance: reasonable cost, diverse experience, good safety level and increasingly convenient transportation infrastructure. The magazine commented: "Vietnam brings an endless adventure journey with enough cuisine to awaken all senses".
Thailand tops the rankings, followed by Albania, Costa Rica and Germany.
