On May 30, Moscow officially launched the third season of the "Summer in Moscow" project.
The program is city-wide in scale with more than 500 participating locations, gathering many cultural, educational, sports and lifestyle activities throughout the summer.
In 2025, the city welcomed about 42,000 Vietnamese visitors, an increase compared to 36,100 in 2024. Travel was also more convenient thanks to the Russian electronic visa policy and about 25 direct flights per week connecting Moscow with cities in Vietnam.

Famous landmarks such as Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral are still indispensable stops on the journey to explore Moscow.
However, what makes the city special is the parallel existence of many layers of history in the same space.

Visitors can visit medieval monasteries and churches, palaces, skyscrapers and the world-famous Soviet-era metro system.
The works associated with the Soviet era, Soviet architecture, monuments and museums help visitors understand more deeply about historical periods.
One of the typical destinations is VDNH - a complex of exhibitions of national economic achievements of the Soviet Union. This is a large-scale space introducing achievements in agriculture, science and culture of the Soviet era.
In which, the Aviation and Space Center is one of the most attractive areas, displaying many artifacts related to the history of space conquest such as spacecraft, satellites, ship compartments and archival documents.
In addition to the exhibition, this place also organizes tours, workshops and thematic festivals.
Summer is also an ideal time to explore ancient mansions through the "Moscow Estates" festival - one of the outstanding projects in "Summer in Moscow".
This used to be a summer vacation destination for Russian noble families and is now open to the public.

Not only admiring architecture and landscapes, visitors also have the opportunity to experience the life and atmosphere of the Russian aristocracy in the 18th - 19th centuries through performances, workshops, tours and cultural interaction activities.
History lovers should also not miss the "Times and Epochs" festival, which recreates many periods of Russian and world history through performances, exhibitions and interactive workshops.
Besides historical values, modern Moscow is also strongly developing new cultural spaces. Tourists are increasingly interested in Zaryadye Park with its future design and view towards the Kremlin, or Red October - a legendary chocolate factory renovated into a riverside creative complex with restaurants, bars and art studios.
Summer in Moscow also features many large-scale cultural events. The 5th Moscow International Jazz Festival will gather more than 1,000 international artists, while the 4th Zaryadye Summer Music Festival offers opera and symphony concerts.

With the combination of history, culture and modern rhythm of life, Moscow is bringing international tourists the opportunity to explore many different historical periods in just one journey.
The city also develops many international tourist support platforms with multilingual services, convenient transportation systems and pre-designed sightseeing routes through the Discover Moscow platform.
