Recently, Vietnam was in the top 5 safest countries for female tourists traveling alone according to BBC's assessment. This list is built based on the actual experience and feelings of women who have traveled alone to many destinations around the world.
Notably, Vietnam is also the only representative of Southeast Asia to be included in the list of 9 safest destinations for women traveling alone announced by Time Out.

This information is not just a simple statistical figure but also reflects the friendly and hospitable image of Vietnamese people in the eyes of international tourists.
Sharing about the above information, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung (Hanoi) feels proud that Vietnam is considered a safe destination for single tourists.
I am very proud to know that Vietnam is in the group of safe countries for tourists traveling alone. This shows that Vietnam has enough conditions for tourists to be assured when coming here. Vietnamese people are very friendly, welcoming and always welcome tourists," Mr. Hung said.
Sharing the same view, many Hanoi residents believe that supporting tourists has become a familiar cultural feature in daily life, from guiding and helping when encountering problems to friendly gestures in communication.
According to Ms. Doan Thi Khanh Linh (Hanoi), a country that is assessed as safe for women to travel alone means a stable, orderly and friendly social environment.
If a country is safe for women traveling alone, then the environment there must be very safe and orderly so that they can go without hesitation. I think women should be willing to support each other.
If they need it, I am always enthusiastic to help. Previously, I also helped both domestic and international tourists when they asked for directions, found public toilets or needed information support," Ms. Linh shared.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dao Quang Huy (Hanoi) said that the friendliness and hospitality of the people are important factors helping Vietnam become a destination loved by many international tourists.
When people are friendly and hospitable, that is an important factor promoting international tourists to come to Vietnam. They not only love Vietnamese people but also love nature, cultural heritage and the experiences that our country brings," Mr. Huy said.
In the context of the increasing trend of women traveling alone in the world, safety is always put first. Vietnam's continuous mention in safe destination rankings not only contributes to attracting international tourists but also affirms the core values of kindness and hospitality - beauties that have become the identity of Vietnamese people.
