Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam (KTO Vietnam) participates in the Vietnam International Travel Mart - VITM Hanoi 2026, taking place from April 9 to 12 at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center (I.C.E). With a 90m2 booth, KTO Vietnam brings a series of promotion, connection and experience activities for businesses and visitors.
In the context of Vietnam - Korea tourism maintaining growth momentum, in 2025 Korea welcomed nearly 550,000 Vietnamese visitors and is expected to reach about 600,000 visitors in 2026. As of the end of March 2026, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Korea reached more than 167,000, an increase of 29.6% compared to the same period last year. Korea is also still one of Vietnam's major international visitor markets.
Since the beginning of 2026, KTO Vietnam has cooperated with more than 20 Vietnamese travel businesses to build products, and at the same time support promotion and partnership connections. Products have been expanded in many directions such as Korean cultural experiences associated with the Hallyu wave, high-end tours, tourism according to personal needs, tourism combined with education and MICE. The policy of supporting tourist groups to reward continues to be maintained with many diverse categories.

At VITM Hanoi 2026, the KTO Vietnam booth is designed in the direction of experience with activities such as Hanbok essay wear, taking photos in a space simulating the subway and Gyeongbok Imperial Palace, participating in interactive games and receiving gifts. The booth also has the participation of localities and partners such as Busan, Gyeonggi, Gyeongbuk and Jeju, bringing diverse information about Korean destinations.
At the same time, KTO Vietnam also organizes a business connection consulting area with the participation of more than 10 Korean tourism units, to promote cooperation and build new tour programs. Products are oriented towards trends such as tourism combined with education, health care resorts and medical tourism.

Notably, for the first time, KTO deployed a financial support package and promotional items for a number of travel businesses at the fair, and also coordinated with 8 tour sales units to give gifts to customers who registered directly, contributing to stimulating market demand right at the event.
Ms. Park Eun Jung - Chief Representative of KTO in Vietnam said that through VITM Hanoi 2026, KTO wishes not only to promote Korean tourism but also to strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese businesses, support product development, thereby maintaining the positive growth momentum of the market.
