The 2026 Perfume Pagoda Festival is organized in a professional direction, applying modern technology, ensuring safety, friendliness and gradually improving the experience for tourists.
According to the People's Committee of Huong Son commune, the 2026 Perfume Pagoda Tourism Festival is being implemented synchronously in many fields such as ticket control, parking lot management, passenger transportation and technical infrastructure investment, to ensure the festival takes place safely, civilizedly, and in accordance with regulations.
Throughout the festival, the Organizing Committee implements 100% free parking fees for cars and motorbikes at parking lots directly managed by the festival management board, and strictly prohibits all acts of collecting fees against regulations. Payment activities are encouraged in the direction of reducing cash, increasing electronic payment methods such as QR codes, transfers, POS; in parallel with that, cash payments are still maintained to suit many groups of tourists.
Recording at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Manh Phu (Thanh Oai, Hanoi) said that this year's organization has many positive changes. "From welcoming and regulating guests to environmental sanitation, boats are cleaner, tidier, and more disciplined than before. I have been at Huong Pagoda for many years, but this year I clearly feel the thoughtfulness of the local government," Mr. Phu shared.
According to the Organizing Committee, to ensure safety for tourists, more than 3,700 boats and ferries have been put into the cooperative model for unified management; strict regulations on the number of passengers for each type of ferry; mandatory equipment of life jackets and protective gear. Food service businesses also commit to using controlled food sources with clear origins.
Notably, this year's festival has many innovations in management, especially the application of digital technology. The electronic ticket sales system, online tickets and the AI camera network monitoring the entire festival area help strengthen security and order control, promptly detect and handle arising situations. Data is monitored centrally, supporting to regulate the number of visitors, manage services more effectively, contributing to improving transparency, safety and professionalism for the festival season.
Vice Chairman of Huong Son Commune People's Committee Vuong Trong Dao said that in addition to providing free parking for all vehicles, the locality has installed an AI camera system in the festival space to strengthen security, improve management efficiency and proactively handle arising situations.
During the actual inspection at Yen stream area and the service route to Thien Tru Pagoda on February 19, leaders of Hanoi People's Committee highly appreciated the application of technology in issuing and controlling tickets in a public and transparent direction.
At the same time, requesting the locality to tighten the management of waterway vehicles, ensure absolute safety for tourists, strictly comply with regulations on waterway traffic; and at the same time emphasize the criteria "Safety - Friendly - Quality", aiming to build the Perfume Pagoda Festival into a civilized and unique destination and leave a good impression in the hearts of tourists.
