In the past two days, the weather in Ta Xua commune has changed favorably. The sky is clear blue, the air is cool, the trees and tourist spots are covered in fresh green. From early morning, white clouds appear in the valleys, rolling along the mountainside.
Steam accumulates after rains, forming a sea of thick clouds, covering many areas. When sunlight penetrates through the mist, rays of light shine down into the valleys, creating a scene that is both majestic and poetic.
Not only is there a sea of clouds, Ta Xua's scenery also becomes clearer. Forest patches, ancient tea trees and grass carpets are full of life under the light sun. This is a favorable time for tourists to visit, take photos and experience the typical space of the highlands.
Ta Xua is located at an average altitude of over 1,600m above sea level, owning many famous destinations such as dinosaur spine, dolphin crest, solitary tree, Ta Xua grassland meadow, Khe Cai cloud station, wind peak and ancient Shan Tuyet tea patches.
At the dinosaur spine in Hang Dong village, a sea of clouds stretching across the mountains creates an impressive scene. This is also a destination chosen by many tourists to welcome sunrise or watch sunset.
Meanwhile, dolphin crests and solitary trees stand out with white clouds covering the valley. Ta Xua grassland after rain is also green and spacious, bringing a peaceful space in the mountains and forests.
Mr. Nguyen Binh Khiem, a tourist from Moc Chau ward, Son La province, said that he chose Ta Xua as a destination after rainy days. According to him, the weather is currently quite pleasant, the scenery is green and especially the sea of clouds appears, making the experience more interesting.
The air here is cool, the scenery is beautiful. Just when there was a sea of clouds, I took the opportunity to visit and take photos," Mr. Khiem shared.
According to Mr. Do Van Xiem - Chairman of Ta Xua Commune People's Committee, the number of visitors to the locality at this time is still stable, concentrated more on weekends. Cool weather, light sunshine and fresh green scenery and sea of clouds appearing are factors that help Ta Xua continue to attract tourists.
After the rain, the scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh. Tourists mainly come to famous spots to hunt clouds, admire the scenery and take photos," Mr. Xiem said.
Mr. Vu Van Trieu, a taxi driver in Ta Xua, said that the number of customers booking cars in recent days is still stable, mainly moving to cloud hunting and check-in points. Although some routes to Ta Xua grasslands and dinosaur backs are still difficult to travel after rain, tourists still come, especially on weekends.
According to the experience of local people, the ideal time to hunt clouds is from 5am-7am or 5pm-6pm. The sea of clouds is usually most beautiful after rain, when humidity is still high, the sky is sunny and the light is gentle.
