About a week until Binh Ngo Tet (the 1st day of Tet is February 17), in addition to spring market activities, visiting pagodas, culinary tours... tourists can also check-in at horse exhibitions taking place throughout Hanoi.
Ma Dao" Exhibition
Carrying the message "Ma Dao Thanh Cong", the event introduces 31 unique paintings, recreating the image of the horse throughout the flow of history, beliefs and trade of the nation through contemporary art language.
The open exhibition space of the exhibition is located on the shore of Hoan Kiem Lake (Le Thai To street area) is where visitors and residents can both stroll for photos and admire horse paintings.
The exhibition space is organized in three consecutive areas: History - Legends, Culture - Beliefs and Trade - Development, leading viewers from historical roots, spiritual depth to the movement and aspiration to rise of Vietnamese culture.
The exhibition is open to the public until the end of February 28.

Exhibition "Horses in visual art
This is a large-scale thematic exhibition organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The event displays more than 60 selected works from the national collection, showing the image of horses through many materials such as lacquer, silk, wood, ceramics, terracotta... helping viewers discover the beauty of this mascot through many artistic periods.
Notably, the exhibition displays a series of original paintings created for the animated film "The Story of Mr. Giong" by painter Ngo Manh Lan.
In the sculpture and contemporary art section, the exhibition introduces graphic works by artist Le Ba Dang, and the sculpture "Horse in the 12 Zodiac Animals" by sculptor Nguyen Thang Long.
The exhibition takes place until March 1st, open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily.

Saint Ma 2026" Exhibition
Personal exhibition by painter Le Tri Dung, a famous artist who paints the most horses in Vietnam. Here, the horse is elevated to the symbol "Saint Ma", associated with heroic legends and the nation's aspiration to rise through liberal, powerful strokes.
More than 100 horse-themed works expressed through many materials, sizes, and styles are displayed in the art space at 115 Nguyen Thai Hoc street.
The exhibition welcomes visitors until February 20, open from 9am to 6pm daily.
