
Detailed schedule of fireworks displays to celebrate the success of the 14th Party Congress
The high-altitude and fireworks display at My Dinh is considered the largest fireworks display event ever in Hanoi.
This is a highlight in the special art program to celebrate the success of the 14th Party Congress and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, scheduled to take place at 8 pm on January 23.
According to the plan, the official fireworks display program lasts about 30 minutes, starting from 8:10 PM on January 23, 2026, closely following the overall script of the program. This is considered the largest-scale fireworks display ever in Hanoi, with a total of nearly 10,000 fireworks units.
Including about 4,600 high-altitude fireworks, 950 sprinklers and more than 4,400 fireworks tubes, bringing the number of high-altitude fireworks nearly 7 times higher than previous annual events.
The fireworks battlefield is located on the roof and on both sides of stand B of My Dinh Stadium. While the high-altitude fireworks battlefield stretches from halfway Le Duc Tho street, through the clock to the vacant lot in front of the Aquatic Sports Palace.
The organizing committee said that the fireworks display for the first time is arranged directly on the roof and on both sides of stand B of My Dinh National Stadium, according to the arc-shaped terrain to increase the spreading effect.
In addition to the fireworks display closing the program, fireworks artwork is also incorporated into many performances, combining music, lighting, lasers and stage effects. The program also applies 3D Mapping performance technology, multi-layer stages and a modern 3,000 m2 LED mobile system.

Note to prohibit roads for special art programs and fireworks performances
To ensure security and order and traffic safety for the program, Hanoi City Police will temporarily ban all vehicles from circulating (except vehicles serving the Congress and vehicles with protective badges) on a number of key routes including: Le Duc Tho (Nguyen Hoang - Le Quang Dao section), Le Quang Dao (Le Duc Tho - Me Tri section), Tan My, Do Xuan Hop, Nguyen Co Thach (Tran Huu Duc - Ham Nghi section) and Tran Huu Duc (Nguyen Van Giap - Le Duc Tho section).
In addition, vehicles, especially cars, will be restricted from circulating on the following routes: Le Duc Tho (Nguyen Hoang - Ho Tung Mau section), Nguyen Co Thach (Ham Nghi - Ho Tung Mau section), Nguyen Hoang, Ham Nghi, Trinh Van Bo, Le Quang Dao (Me Tri - Thang Long Avenue section), Chau Van Liem (including Chau Van Liem intersection overpass) and Me Tri.
The time to implement temporary road bans and vehicle restrictions is from 6:00 PM to 12:00 PM on January 23rd and January 24th.
During this time, functional forces organize traffic diversion and guide vehicles moving from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Avenue and the opposite direction according to the routes: Ho Tung Mau - Pham Hung - Thang Long Avenue, or Ho Tung Mau - Cau Dien - Xuan Phuong - Provincial Road 70 - Thang Long Avenue and vice versa.
People and tourists watching fireworks are advised to follow traffic prohibition information, traffic diversion, and proactively choose vehicles. Please arrange appropriate travel time to avoid congestion, arrive at least 30 minutes early to fully watch the fireworks display in the program to celebrate the success of the 14th Party Congress.
If traveling by private car, people and tourists can park at points at the beginning of prohibited road sections and then walk inside to observe fireworks and fireworks at close range on Le Quang Dao street, Hanoi Children's Palace - Nam Tu Liem...
