May Waterfall is located in Dang Thuong village, Thach Lam commune, old Thach Thanh district (now Thach Quang commune, Thanh Hoa province), nearly 100km from the center of Thanh Hoa and more than 100km from the capital Hanoi.
The waterfall has 9 stages of overlapping mountains and rivers, stacked on top of each other. The locals here often call it the rustic name "the ripe water of love". This is one of the most famous waterfalls in Thanh Hoa, located in the buffer zone of Cuc Phuong National Park.
Visitors coming here not only get to immerse themselves in the cool, refreshing water but also have the opportunity to enjoy many local specialties such as bitter soup, stone snails, hill chicken, foie gras, spring rolls...

To promote potential and make Thach May Waterfall an attractive destination, in recent years, Thach Lam commune, the old Thach Thanh district (now Thach Quang commune) has set a goal of developing eco-tourism, resorts, and community associated with preserving traditional cultural values.
