From heritage spaces, destinations in Hanoi are gradually transforming into exploiting unique tourism products, contributing to extending overnight stays and increasing the attraction for the Capital at night.
One of the outstanding experiences on the Hanoi night tourism map is the evening relic tours. Typical examples include the night tour program at Hoa Lo Prison Relic.

Sharing after experiencing the "Sacred Night" tour at the Hoa Lo Prison relic, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung (Quang Ninh) said: "The nighttime space is quite dark, so when I first stepped in, I felt a little scared. However, after experiencing the night tour, I appreciate the courageous sacrifice of our ancestors in the past even more.
Similarly, Ms. Dong Thi Phuong Thanh (Hanoi) wants to spread the historical stories she heard in the night tour to her family and friends.

Representatives of the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board said that the biggest goal of night tours is to spread gratitude to the generation of fathers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
Also according to the Management Board, to ensure the quality of experience, each night tour only limits a certain number of guests, about more than 80 to 100 people. Programs are often quickly "sold out". Therefore, tourists need to book about one to two months in advance.
The success of the night tour at Hoa Lo Prison Relic also paves the way for many similar products. Another night tourist location in Hanoi is Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam. Here, activities take visitors through many levels of emotions, when experiencing classes with teachers, folk games, and storytelling steles.
The show "Tinh Hoa Dao Hoc" integrating 3D mapping technology has brought a completely new experience. Under moving light, ancient structures such as storytelling with images, conveying stories about the tradition of studiousness, the spirit of respecting teachers and valuing morality.

Sharing after participating in the night tour at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoang Thi Ngan (Hanoi) said: "The Van Mieu space at night brings me a very different feeling, both quiet and sacred. When 3D mapping images appear on ancient structures, I feel like history is'revving' right before my eyes.
In addition, night tours also attract many international tourists. Mr. Esteban (27 years old), an Argentine tourist, said he was particularly impressed with the way the programs honored and recounted the historical story of the relic.
I really like the way you preserve and respect the value of this place. Through music and historical stories, I can understand more about Vietnamese culture in a very interesting way," he said.

Representative of the Relic Management Board, Mr. Pham Minh Khang, said that the number of customers participating in night tours varies depending on the time. On weekends, especially Saturdays, the number of customers increases sharply.
On Wednesdays and Sundays, each evening we welcome about 100 to 150 guests. On Saturdays alone, the number of guests can reach 200 to 250 people," he said.
The development of night tours not only helps "awaken" the heritage values of Hanoi, but also opens up opportunities for the tourism industry to increase spending and extend the stay of tourists. This is considered a potential direction for Hanoi to improve its competitiveness in the urban tourism map.
