Ms. Lo Thi Van, representative of the food stall of a Thai restaurant in Hanoi, said that the restaurant introduced famous dishes such as mango sticky rice, papaya salad with papaya, pad Thai, pineapple fried rice...
"I have been in the Thai food business for about 7-8 years. The booth at the fair is quite crowded, we always work hard to make mango sticky rice. In just about an hour, the sticky rice was gone. Customers who arrive at the time when the sticky rice is sold out have to wait about 15-20 minutes," Ms. Van said, adding that the restaurant prepares a quintal of sticky rice per day.
In addition, the booth of a famous Thai milk tea brand in Hanoi also attracts a large number of diners to enjoy the typical flavor of red Thai tea and green Thai tea.


This year, Hanoi is one of the 6 major cities in the world to host the Thai Festival. This event aims to introduce the potential of Thailand's creative economy, while promoting the connection between people through culture, tourism and art.
Ms. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Thai Ambassador to Vietnam, said that Thai Festival plays a cultural bridge to promote understanding of Thai culture and people-to-people exchanges, a testament to the joint efforts between Vietnam and Thailand.
Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh emphasized that the choice of Hanoi as one of the major cities and capitals in the world to organize a large-scale event shows the Royal Thai Government's respect for Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular.
With the theme "The Pulse of Tradition - The pulse of Tradition", the event is expected to bring a new spirit, affirming that "Thailand's Creative Economy" is a symbol of unique creativity, forged from a long-standing cultural heritage and always reaching far, in keeping with global development trends.

In addition to enjoying the cuisine, visitors to the festival also have the opportunity to experience wearing traditional Thai costumes; Songkran waterfall activities; watch outdoor movies at 6pm on March 29 and 30 with two famous films "Love destiny the Movie" and "404 Run Run".
