At the Hanoi Tourism Festival 2026, the combination of virtual reality VR360 and artificial intelligence (AI) not only blushes the geographical distance but also opens up a breakthrough perspective on the journey to explore the Capital in the digital age.
With hundreds of digitized destinations, exploring the Capital becomes easy and intuitive, bringing a vivid perspective to those who experience it.
Ms. Luu Thi Cuc (Hanoi) shared: "I just visited Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam through virtual reality. Every detail appears sharp as in real life, helping people who do not have the conditions to come to the place still be able to fully feel the beauty of the relic".
According to Ms. Cuc, not only stopping at sightseeing, the booths also guide people to use applications to learn and can personalize the itinerary of sightseeing, eating, and resting.
This is especially useful for individual groups of tourists, helping them to be more proactive and secure. In particular, these vivid 3D images also stimulate curiosity, making tourists want to set foot on the spot to compare with reality," Ms. Cuc said.

For young people, digital tourism is an inevitable experience. Ms. Le Thi Kim Anh (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi) excitedly said: "I stand still in one place but have traveled all over Hanoi. This is truly a unique "no distance" travel experience. This technology is extremely suitable for Gen Z to increase experience and access culture in the most modern way.
The excitement does not stop at virtual frames. What people really expect is a smart tourism ecosystem, where all information and destinations are within reach, bringing maximum peace of mind and convenience.
Ms. Luu Thi Cuc expressed: "I hope that in the near future, not only the Capital but also destinations across the country will integrate digital technology. Synchronous digitization will help domestic and international tourists easily access information, thereby having the most complete and professional experiences when coming to Vietnam.

Agreeing with the point of view on practical applicability, Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung (Hanoi) shared: "As someone who often travels, I see virtual reality technology or "virtual tour guides" as a very necessary step. If applied widely, tourists will actively grasp information about relics, accommodation places... This not only stimulates curiosity but also helps us feel more secure and confident in each journey of exploration.
From virtual space to real journeys, digital technology is becoming a dedicated guide, opening a new chapter for Hanoi tourism. Further, this is a strategic lever for Vietnamese tourism to break through, affirm its position on the global digital map, turning each heritage into an unlimited experience in the hearts of tourists.
