The event is organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, to promote the image of the Capital and stimulate tourism demand right from the beginning of the year.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Nguyen Tran Quang said that 2025 recorded many positive signs of Vietnamese and Hanoi tourism. In the first months of 2026, Hanoi tourism continued to maintain its growth momentum and was honored in many global tourism award categories by Tripadvisor, affirming the attractiveness of Hanoi as a destination.
Mr. Nguyen Tran Quang emphasized: "In 2026, Hanoi's tourism industry aims to welcome over 35.8 million visitors, including 8.6 million international visitors; continue to improve service quality, develop new products, promote digital transformation, smart tourism and build tourism in a green and sustainable direction.

Hanoi Tourism Festival is an annual tourism promotion activity, aimed at introducing domestic and foreign tourists to a Hanoi rich in cultural traditions, while also dynamic and modern with many diverse tourism products. Thereby affirming that the Capital is a destination "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" and "Come to Love".
Taking place from March 13 to 15, the festival has a scale of nearly 100 booths, designed as a journey to explore Hanoi with multiple experiences through many theme spaces. In which, the "Memories" Space recreates heritage, ancient towns, architecture and Hanoi craft villages through destination models, photography and painting exhibitions. The "Connection" space is a place for tourism businesses to meet tourists, introduce new tours, tourism products and stimulus programs with many preferential vouchers.

The highlight of the festival is the "Technology" Space, where visitors can experience modern digital tourism applications such as VR360 virtual reality technology, international online tourism platform, artificial intelligence applications and reception robots.
In addition, the "Green Land" Space introduces ecotourism products, rural tourism, resorts and outdoor sports at many typical destinations of Hanoi such as Ba Vi, Soc Son, My Duc, Dong Mo and Duong Lam ancient village.
The "Essence" space honors the values of Hanoi craft villages and cuisine with traditional craft performances and experiences of famous specialties such as lotus tea, Vong village cốm, Hanoi pho, Ngu Xa pho rolls, Thanh Tri banh cuon, Hang Duong ô mai.

The "Connecting the Four Directions" space gathers tourism booths from many localities such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, contributing to strengthening tourism development links between Hanoi and regions across the country.
Within the framework of the festival, there are also many attractive activities such as surveying Bat Trang pottery village, seminars on developing rural craft village tourism, a running program to support green tourism, and traditional art performances such as Te Tieu dry puppetry, Xuan Lai - Da Phuc Mo tug-of-war, Bac Ninh Quan Ho singing, Suoi Hai gong performance.


This year's festival also introduces thousands of tours and discount vouchers, and at the same time promotes more than 300 digitized destinations of Hanoi, contributing to improving the experience for tourists and promoting e-commerce in the tourism sector.
With a series of rich activities, the Hanoi Tourism Festival 2026 is expected to attract a large number of domestic and international people to visit and experience, thereby contributing to promoting the image of the Capital and promoting sustainable tourism and green economy.
