The program promises to become one of the outstanding highlights of this year's festival season.
According to the Organizing Committee, 1,500 women will put on ao dai with patterns and colors of lotus flowers, creating a brilliant picture, honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women and spreading the cultural values of traditional ao dai.
The program is co-organized by the Cao Lanh Ward Women's Union, and also contributes to promoting the image of the Red Lotus Land homeland to tourists from near and far.
According to the plan, the program takes place on the morning of June 19. Delegates and women's union members gather from 6:30 am at Van Mieu Square (Cao Lanh ward) before officially parading from 7 am to 8 am.

The parade is expected to start from Van Mieu Square, passing through central roads including Ngo Thi Nham, Vo Truong Toan and circling through Sen street on Ly Thuong Kiet street.
The image of thousands of women in ao dai with lotus colors is expected to create a brilliant highlight, contributing to highlighting the cultural identity of the festival.
The activity not only honors the graceful beauty of Dong Thap women but also contributes to promoting the image of Vietnamese ao dai associated with lotus flowers - a typical cultural symbol of the Pink Lotus Land.

The Organizing Committee expects the program to attract a large number of people, women's union members and tourists to participate, creating a vibrant atmosphere, contributing to the overall success of the 3rd Dong Thap Lotus Festival in 2026 with the theme "Returning to listen to lotus stories".
Previously, the Ao Dai Lotus Parade program at the 2nd Dong Thap Lotus Festival in 2024 left many beautiful impressions in the hearts of people and tourists because of its large scale and the image of graceful ao dai harmonizing with the typical lotus colors of Dong Thap land.

As Lao Dong newspaper reported earlier, the 3rd Dong Thap Lotus Festival 2026 will take place from June 18 to 21, with many unique cultural, tourism, art and culinary activities.
The event not only contributes to honoring the beauty and value of lotus flowers but is also an opportunity to promote the image of Dong Thap, promote the economic value of the lotus industry, promote agricultural development associated with tourism and attract domestic and international tourists to Dat Sen Hong.
