In the first 4 days of 2026, tourism activities in Vinh Long province recorded signs of recovery when the total number of visitors and resorts reached over 164,000.
According to functional sectors, revenue from tourism is estimated at about 156.1 billion VND, showing that purchasing power and experience needs of tourists continue to recover positively after a period of silence.
Ecotourism spots and gardens continue to be a favorite choice for many tourists, with typical experiential activities such as picking fruit at the garden, visiting the river and water space.
In addition, experiential tourism products such as digging ditches to catch fish, and rustic activities in the Mekong Delta attract a large number of family groups, contributing to creating a bustling atmosphere in the first days of the year.
In addition to traditional ecotourism, some modern amusement parks and resorts have also recorded increased visitors, contributing to diversifying local tourism products.
Mr. Duong Hoang Sum - Director of Vinh Long Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - assessed that this result shows positive signs of the tourism industry right from the beginning of the year, creating a premise for growth targets in 2026.
Mr. Sum said that Vinh Long province's tourism industry will continue to coordinate with localities and businesses to improve service quality, invest in infrastructure and ensure security and safety for tourists in the coming time.
