Mr. Tran The Dung - General Director of Vietluxtour Company said that Ho Chi Minh City converges a rich culinary culture, especially nighttime culinary activities. When coming to a new destination, culinary experience is always one of the important needs of tourists.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has formed many diverse culinary areas, with their own identity, meeting the needs of many different groups of customers. This is considered a suitable development direction, contributing to enhancing the attractiveness of the destination.

Agreeing with this view, Mr. Tran Quang Duy - Director of Chim Canh Cut Travel Service Joint Stock Company said that culinary experience tours are receiving more attention, as tourists want to explore the unique features of Ho Chi Minh City, where each dish is associated with a separate story.

In fact, the appeal of Ho Chi Minh City's cuisine is recognized in international rankings. The city has just been honored in the top 50 best cities in the world in 2026 announced by Time Out, in which cuisine is one of the highlights with 75% of people appreciating it highly.

From these positive signals, culinary tourism is being identified as one of the important development directions of the city's tourism industry. In 2026, Ho Chi Minh City continues to promote products associated with cuisine, thereby improving experiences and increasing attractiveness, towards sustainable development in the long term.
