This year, the province is estimated to welcome about 373,000 visitors (including more than 16,000 international visitors); Total revenue from tourism is estimated to reach more than 561 billion VND.
Phu Quoc special zone alone is estimated to welcome more than 78,000 visitors. Of which, there are more than 15,800 international visitors, accounting for more than 97.8% of the province's international visitors.
According to the Provincial Department of Tourism, the Department has issued an official dispatch to the Culture and Social Departments of localities, the Tourism Association, the Provincial Chef Association and tourism business units in the province, requesting them to proactively prepare conditions to serve tourists during the National Day 2/9 holiday.
In which, the Department of Culture and Society advises the People's Committees of localities to strengthen the management of tourism business and services serving tourists; promote propaganda and guidance for business establishments, people and tourists to comply with regulations on security, safety, environmental sanitation, food safety, fire prevention and fighting and price listing; strengthen inspection and supervision, promptly handle violations, receive and resolve feedback from tourists, contributing to building a civilized, safe and friendly tourism environment.

Conditions on facilities, human resources, service quality, security and order, environmental sanitation and food safety are concerned and ensured.
