On April 7, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that during the 3 days off the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day (from April 5 to April 7), the whole province is expected to welcome about 231,044 visitors to have fun and relax.
Of which, Vung Tau City welcomed the largest number of visitors with about 111,000 visitors; Xuyen Moc District is estimated to welcome about 67,587 visitors; Chau Duc District only welcomed about 4,800 visitors; while the remaining districts welcomed from 11,500 to more than 12,500 visitors during the holiday.
Thereby, the total tourism revenue of the whole province is estimated at more than 224.5 billion VND; of which Vung Tau city is over 97.8 billion VND, Xuyen Moc is over 54.5 billion VND and Con Dao is over 41.1 billion VND.
During the three days of the holiday, the security and order situation in the area was stable. Localities are well prepared in organizing events and programs; arranging forces for emergency, rescue, and relief, reminding people and tourists to swim safely.
At the same time, the situation of tourism service business across the province is stable when establishments comply with the price listing and selling at the listed price. Depending on the business policy, there are places for promotion (discount, offering services) but there are also additional places of surcharges during the holiday season. The tourism industry has not received a negative reflection regarding the price situation in the area
