On May 12, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that it had issued a Plan to organize the 15th Coastal Culture - Sports Festival in 2025, which will take place over two days, May 30 - 31, in Phuoc Son commune, Tuy Phuoc district.
The festival includes 3 main groups of activities: Culture, sports and culinary exchange. The cultural activities included a beauty contest, an art contest with the theme "Sea, homeland islands", a contest for coastal beauties with performances of traditional costumes, sports, summer, talent and behavior. Sports activities include: Men's boat racing, freestyle swimming, mixed-women tug of war. Each unit participating in the culinary exchange will introduce 2 specialties (1 dish and 1 drink) with explanations and presentations.
The participating forces include artisans, actors, and athletes from 6 units: Tuy Phuoc District, Phu Cat, Phu My, Hoai Nhon Town, Quy Nhon City and Binh Dinh Provincial Border Guard.
The festival is an activity to implement the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030 in the province.
This is an opportunity for fishermen from coastal districts, towns and cities to meet, exchange and share experiences in labor and production; contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values typical of Binh Dinh coastal residents.
Through cultural and sports activities, the festival also aims to meet the needs of cultural enjoyment and creativity of the people, encourage the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", encourage all people to participate in protecting sovereignty and national border security.
The festival promises to be a healthy and meaningful playground, contributing to strengthening community solidarity, promoting the role of the cultural subject of the People, and at the same time promoting the emulation movement for socio-economic development of the province in 2025.
