According to initial information, at around 2:30 a.m. the same day, at the Tran Hung Dao - Le Loi intersection (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh), a motorbike without a license plate driven by Ms. Tran Thi Thanh (48 years old, residing in Tuy Phuoc District) traveling on Tran Hung Dao Street collided with a motorbike with license plate 77D1-587.55 driven by Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan (18 years old, residing in Phu My District).
Tan's motorbike was carrying Tran Trong Tri (17 years old, residing in Phu My district) and Dang Thi Thanh Tra (16 years old, residing in An Nhon town), traveling on Le Loi street.
The strong collision caused Ms. Tran Thi Thanh and Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan to die on the spot. Tran Trong Tri was injured and taken to Binh Dinh General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities were present at the scene to examine and investigate the cause of the incident. At the same time, the police took samples to test for alcohol and drug levels.
According to the authorities, the initial cause was determined to be Nguyen Minh Tan's lack of observation and failure to reduce speed when crossing the intersection, leading to a serious accident.
