Prof. Jang Hyeon-Jin has just received the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of Culture, Sports and Tourism" according to Decision No. 3872/QD-BVHTTDL of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Prof. Jang Hyeon-Jin currently works at the Institute of International Relations Cooperation, Jeonju University, Korea. Over the years, she has made persistent and effective contributions to promoting cooperation in training culture, arts, sports and tourism between Vietnam and Korea. She plays a key role in connecting training institutions of the two countries, creating a foundation for many long-term cooperation programs.
Since 2016, Ms. Jang Hyeon-Jin has supported the establishment of a student-ledcturer exchange program between Jeonju University and Nha Trang College of Tourism.
From 2020-2025, she will continue to connect to deploy 2+2, 3+2 and 1+2 joint training models for many tourism colleges in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Lat... with Jeonju University and Chosun College of Science and Technology.
She also supported the Ministry of Education and Training; the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to promote tourism training cooperation programs: from signing a memorandum of understanding with Jeonju University (June 2017) to organizing a workshop to build a tourism management program (8.2019).
In 2023, Prof. Jang Hyeon-Jin is the focal point for the working group of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to visit Korea to sign a cooperation training agreement with many art and sports institutions such as Kookmin University, Dong A Art Academy, Chosun University, Busan Art School...
At the same time, she promoted cooperation in high-performance sports training with Korean federations and training centers, creating conditions for Vietnam to access advanced training models.
Prof. Hyeon-Jin also directly supported the signing of cooperation agreements between Jeonju University and a series of training units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism such as Hanoi University of Culture, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema, Vietnam University of Fine Arts, universities of physical education and sports...
She presided over the implementation of the lecturer-student exchange program, receiving dozens of Vietnamese students to study with full scholarships in 2024, and supporting the training of Vietnamese lecturers to build a Tourism Management program in English.
In the field of education, she coordinated to organize many important international seminars on smart tourism, artificial intelligence in tourism training, cultural tourism... with the participation of schools and specialized associations of Vietnam and Korea.
In addition to training, Prof. Jang Hyeon-Jin also actively connects activities to promote Vietnamese tourism in Korea: organizing ao dai introduction tours in Jeonbuk (2023), Vietnam - Korea tourism cooperation conferences (2024), and planning a workshop to introduce Khanh Hoa fish sauce and tourism products in Korea (September 2025).
Prof. Jang Hyeon-Jin has made an important contribution to expanding exchanges, improving the quality of training in the fields of culture, sports, tourism and enhancing the promotion of the image of Vietnam in Korea.
