In the area along both banks of the Nam Rom River or Vo Thi Sau Park (central of Dien Bien province), clusters of ripe yellow flowers are becoming check-in destinations for people and tourists.

Yellow bird's nest flower usually starts from May and ends at the end of July. According to research, this plant was introduced for planting in Dien Bien more than 10 years ago, mainly in urban area and park projects. Among them, both banks of the Nam Rom River are places where planting is concentrated in large quantities.

Under the summer sun, tall trees (up to 10m) bloom clusters of flowers from 20 - 40cm long, softly flowering. Soft, fragile petals with bright yellow color, adding to the poetic beauty.
With fast growth and development characteristics, wide canopy, sun-loving and good drainage, muong hoang yen currently not only plays the role of a shade tree but also an ecological landscape highlight for the city.
Canary cassia is known by many names such as: queen cassia, lantern flower, yellow scorpion, apricot tree, or yellow flower osaka.

This yellow flower is also considered the national flower of Thailand. The yellow color of the flower symbolizes prosperity, luck and success, and also expresses nobility and luxury.
The brilliant beauty of muong hoang yen has quickly become an unmissable check-in location. Every day, many young people and people who love beauty come here to admire the scenery, stroll and record impressive photos with this flower color.
Ms. Le Phuong Anh (Dien Bien Phu ward) - said: "Taking photos with muong hoang yen flowers at the moment of sunset is the most beautiful. Standing on the windy Nam Rom riverbank, admiring the brilliant golden flower clusters, I have a feeling of missing the afternoons by West Lake in Hanoi".

Not only on the riverbank, Vo Thi Sau Park (Muong Thanh ward) is also a destination filled with colorful flowers.
Under the brilliant yellow canopies, this is a place that many Dien Bien people choose as an ideal place to exercise, relax and enjoy peaceful moments.
