Details on traffic diversion on expressways from now until September 2

The Traffic Police Department will divert traffic and limit vehicles traveling towards Hanoi to serve the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

To serve the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (A80), the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) has issued a notice to direct traffic, limiting road vehicles heading to Hanoi.

Accordingly, the time limit for road vehicles operating in the direction towards Hanoi includes: From 3:00 p.m. on August 21 to 5:00 a.m. on August8; from 3:00 p.m. on August 24 to 5:00 a.m. on September 8; from 3:00 p.m. on August 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 30 and from 4:00 p.m. on September 1 to 5:00 p.m. on September 2.

restricted vehicles include: Trucks with a capacity of 10 tons or more, passenger cars with 45 seats or more (except for fixed-line passenger transport vehicles, buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with badges for celebrations and vehicles prioritized for business trips).

The above vehicles will be restricted to traffic on the following routes:

For expressways:

Hanoi - Ninh Binh Expressway: section from Thuong Tin intersection (km192+300, Hong Van commune, Hanoi).

Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway: from Yen My intersection (km21+500).

Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway: from Van Xuan intersection (intersection with National Highway 3 at km40+700) to the intersection with National Highway 18 (Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh province).

Hanoi - Lao Cai Expressway: from Binh Xuyen - IC3 intersection (CT05 intersection with Provincial Road 310B in Binh Xuyen commune, Phu Tho province).

For national highways:

On National Highway 1A: from the intersection of Phan Trong Tue Street (provincial road 70A) - Ngoc Hoi (National Highway 1A); National Highway 1A (Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway): from the intersection with Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway (km152+600 National Highway 1A).

On National Highway 2: from the National Highway 2 intersection - Vo Van Kiet Street.

On National Highway 3: from the Cavalry Regiment (Ba Xuyen Ward, Thai Nguyen Province) → the intersection of Cach Mang Thang Tam intersection with National Highway 3 - Nam Tien intersection (from km46+650 to km41+900) → Tran Nguyen Han Street (Van Xuan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province) - to Van Xuan intersection.

On National Highway 5: from Cau Chui intersection (Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Van Cu).

On National Highway 6: from the intersection with Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh road (km65+100 National Highway6).

On National Highway 21A: from the intersection with National Highway 32 to Cho Ben intersection (intersection with National Highway 21A and Ho Chi Minh Road).

On National Highway 18: the section from the intersection with Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway (Yen Phong Commune, Bac Ninh Province).
