From 06:00 on May 24, 2025 to 08:00 on May 25, 2025, vehicles (except vehicles with protection badges and vehicles serving the National Day) on the roads: Tang Bat Ho, Pham Dinh Ho, Nguyen Cong Tru (from Tran Thanh Tong to Lo Duc), Yec Xanh, Tran Thanh Tong, Nguyen Huy Tu, Le Quy Don (from Nguyen Cao to YecXanh), Nguyen Cao (from Lo Duc to Le Quy Don), Han Thuyen, Hang Chuoi (from Han Thuyen to Nguyen Cong Tru).
From 6:00 a.m. on May 24, 2025 to 9:00 a.m. on May 25, 2025, limit cargo vehicles with a carrying capacity of 500kg or more, passenger cars with 25 seats or more (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the National Day) on some routes: Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Hung Dao, Hai Ba Trung, Le Thanh Tong, Lo Duc, Nguyen Cong Tru (from Lo Duc to Pho Hue), Tran Khanh Du, Nguyen Khoi dyke, dyke 401, Ngo Thi Nham, Le Thanh Tong.
From 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on May 25, 2025, limit and temporarily ban all types of vehicles from circulating on Le Thanh Tong route, August Revolution Square area, Trang Tien, Hang Khay, Trang Thi, Dien Bien Phu (from Cua Nam intersection to Nguyen Tri Phuong - Dien Bien Phu), Tran Phu, Kim Ma, Van Bao, Van Phuc, Lieu Giai (from Lieu Giai - Phan Ke Binh to Lieu Giai - Nguyen Chi Thanh), Dao Tan, Buoi, Ring Road II, Vo Chi Cong, Nhat Tan bridge, Vo Nguyen Giap, around Noi Bai International Airport Complex, Vo Van Vo (from Vo Van Quoc Kien - Vo Kiap Giap 2 Vo Giet).

Tour organizers, transportation units, tourists and people need to pay attention to voluntarily complying with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and instructions, regulation and traffic flow by the authorities.
During the National Day Ceremony, Hanoi City Police announced traffic diversion and organized directions for vehicles in restricted and temporarily banned areas participating in traffic along the route as follows:
(1) Vehicles under restrictions and temporary ban from National Highway 5 to the southern provinces via Thanh Tri Bridge, the elevated Ring Road III, the Hanoi Expressway, Ninh Binh to the provinces; vehicles from National Highway 5 to the northern provinces passing through Dong Tru Bridge, along National Highway 2, National Highway 3 or the Hanoi Expressway, Thai Nguyen to the provinces and vice versa.
(2) From 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on May 25, 2025, vehicles from the southern provinces to the northern provinces to Phap Van, the elevated Ring Road III, move through Thang Long Bridge, Thanh Tri Bridge to the provinces and vice versa. Vehicles need to proactively adjust their routes, limit their entry into Vo Chi Cong Street, Nhat Tan Bridge, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Noi Bai International Airport Complex.
In addition, the Hanoi People's Committee also requested the temporary suspension of the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake on May 25 to serve the funeral organization.
According to the Official Dispatch of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, central departments, ministries, branches, unions, administrative agencies, and public service units will stop, postpone, and not organize cultural, artistic, sports competitions and entertainment activities during the National Day Ceremony.
The People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities shall direct and guide organizations, individuals, and establishments in the area to stop, postpone, and not organize cultural, artistic, sports competitions and public entertainment activities during the National Day celebration.
