The Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front decided to organize the Funeral Ceremony of former President Tran Duc Luong with the National Funeral Ceremony in 2 days (24 and 25.5.2025).
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy signed Official Dispatch No. 2281/CD-BVHTTDL on hanging invitation flags and not organizing public entertainment activities during the National Day of former President Tran Duc Luong.
The telegram requires agencies, offices nationwide and representative agencies of Vietnam abroad to hang invitations during the National Funeral Ceremony.
Central departments, ministries, branches, unions, administrative agencies, and public service units shall stop, postpone, and not organize cultural, artistic, sports competitions and entertainment activities during the National Day celebration.
The People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities shall direct and guide organizations, individuals, and establishments in the area to stop, postpone, and not organize cultural, artistic, sports competitions and public entertainment activities during the National Day celebration.
