Accordingly, the overall study affirms that the system of Tourism Information and Support Centers is an important component in destination management and the transition to a smart tourism model.

In recent times, many localities have paid attention to investing and forming tourism information centers and points in a modern and professional direction.

In particular, some typical models such as Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Ninh Binh have built a relatively effective information supply network, applying strong technology and gradually building trust with tourists.

However, nationwide, this system is still developing unevenly, revealing many limitations such as the number of centers not meeting actual needs; large differences in facilities and management models between localities; human resources lacking professionalism, limitations in foreign languages and situation handling skills; tourism information has not been standardized and updated regularly; digital transformation is still disjointed, lacking data connectivity and inter-sectoral coordination mechanisms, especially in supporting and handling incidents for tourists.

From practical implementation, research shows that an effective tourism information center needs to fully converge infrastructure - technical conditions that meet human resources with in-depth training, clear coordination mechanisms, active participation of businesses and the community, along with a technology platform - data connection, opening and updating regularly.

Improving the capacity of the Tourism Information Center system and Supporting Tourists not only helps improve the quality of service and experience of tourists, but also contributes to increasing destination competitiveness, improving the national image and promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam tourism, Ms. Lan assessed.

On that basis, research and recommend the need to soon build a national standard set and a unified digital transformation project for the system; increase infrastructure investment, expand the network of information points, train human resources in the locality; standardize the process of providing information, communication and receiving feedback from tourists... At the same time, promote deeper participation of businesses and the community to diversify services, increase sustainability and operational efficiency of centers.

At the discussion session, experts and travel businesses also presented their views, raised additional opinions to improve the content, and proposed solutions to help the Tourism Information and Support Center operate effectively.
