On June 14, Ea Kao Ward Police (Dak Lak) said that they had simultaneously launched a campaign to propagate, remind and handle cases of encroachment on road safety corridors, roadbeds, and sidewalks for business in the Ea Kao lake area.
Ea Kao Lake has long been a famous entertainment and sightseeing spot for people and tourists when coming to Dak Lak. However, recently, along with the increasing number of visitors, the situation of encroaching on sidewalks and roads to sell food and soft drinks is quite common.
Many business households arbitrarily erect roofs, place tables and chairs, and place vending carts overflowing into traffic corridors, causing urban unsightliness, affecting public order and posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.

Faced with this situation, Ea Kao Ward Police coordinated with forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to organize inspections and handle violations with the motto "propaganda comes first, strict handling follows".
Functional forces have directly propagated and mobilized business households to comply with the provisions of law.
For cases of intentional violations, re-encroachment or failure to comply with requests, the working group shall make records, handle and seize exhibits according to regulations.
Leaders of Ea Kao Ward Police said that they will continue to maintain patrol and control work, resolutely prevent the situation of re-encroachment in order to build a civilized, safe and friendly tourism environment in the Ea Kao Lake area.
